    I was wanting to create a whole new site…but it grabbed an old siteblog that already existed and I do not want to lose it. How can I move the content to a free holder page?

    I understand you’d like to move the domain and the WordPress.com Starter plan to a new site. To do this, we’ll need you to create a free WordPress.com site (with a WordPress.com address) first. Please go to https://wordpress.com/pricing and choose the Free plan to get started.

    When it asks for a site name/domain, please enter a .wordpress.com address and choose the free option. Once the new free site has been created, let me know the site address, and I’ll move the domain and the plan to your new site.
