16 Likes, not one visitor counted???

    I posted yesterday (http://pj8photography.wordpress.com/2013/03/16/984/) and received 17 notifications of visits and likes. The page shows 16 “likes” but when I go to my dashboard, I see not a single visit for that day. I have read about what is not counted in terms of visits, but I find it difficult to believe that 16 people liked my page but not one of them was counted as a visitor. Please help.

    If the people clicking the like button have gravatar accounts but do no upload a gravatar image then there is no gravatar display.

    If you enabled “full text” here > Settings > Reader
    For each article in a feed, show
    _Full text
    -Summary

    then note that email subscribers do not have to click into the blog to click a like button. Know also that all your followers using the WordPress.com Reader can click the like button there without visiting your blog.
