18$ domain name?

    A few months ago I made bought a domain name for 18$ at wordpress.com
    Now it seems that option isn’t available anymore. Is there something I am missing?
    Hope somebody can help me out. I really love to buy the domain name at 18$ and NOT upgrade to 99$ a year.

    Hello!

    You are right: it used to be possible to get a domain for $18 but we changed it a couple of weeks ago so that domains can only be registered with plans. However it’s worth getting Premium because it comes with lots of other things like no ads (previously your site would have included advertising), more space, custom design, and the ability to upload audio and video.
