1st screen I get after logging in, none of the tabs work.
-
In the window with tabs for New Post, Reader….My Blogs, Freshly Pressed, clicking on any of those tabs does nothing. When I log in I get this screen, when I click on My Blogs I get this screen, when I click on Manage My Blogs I get this non-functional window. I can’t get anywhere because nothing on this screen does anything when you click on any of the tabs.

Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.
If that doesn’t work, try a different browser to see if it is related to just that one browser.
What browser and browser version are you experiencing this issue with?
-
I’m using Explorer and I’d have to check which version since I’m on a network, a computer room where I live. I will clear the cache and cookies and see if that works. Never had any problem before, just in the last two days. Thanks.

I tried another of the computers in the room and it’s the same. And actually there’s a lot more not working than I originally thought. In the header in the drop down menu under the WordPress logo New Post, Reader, Notifications, My Blogs, Freshly Pressed, and Settings menu items don’t work, only Stats. New Post in header doesn’t work. In drop down menu under my blog name, Find Friends, and Manage My Blogs menu items don’t work. I can access some of these things by going into the dashboard but can’t access Reader even in dashboard. Hope clearing the cache works. I’ll let you know.

You mention being on a network. Is this a corporate network? I’ve seen these sorts of issues when a security program, or firewall on a network is configured a little to tightly, or there was a update that tightened things up.
-
The other thing to try is to change your access either to http:// or https:// (whichever it is not at the moment and then try connecting again.
-
I cleared the cache and cookies and restarted the browser and it didn’t change anything. As far as I know nothing has been done to these computers but I’d have to check into that. It’s a gated community that provides various amenities, a full computer center being one of them. The only thing I know is that the computers go into deep freeze every night so anything you do on them is wiped out, but not cookies obviously. I have several blogs under my primary blog and inside each blog dashboard everything works fine. But whenever I’m directed back to the wordpress.com homepage none of the tabs work there except Stats. When I’m signed in I can’t get Freshly Pressed at all. The problem is clearly with the WordPress.com home page after I sign in.

Okay. I tried your suggestion, used https to sign into wordpress. Got a security block popup on that, checked to allow, then got a security screen everytime I clicked on one of the tabs whether I wanted to allow the data that was not secure, I clicked on the one that allowed both secure and non secure data to be shown. Still the same result. I don’t know what else to do. I’ll wait for further instructions. Thanks for the help so far.

I’ve tagged this for staff attention and hopefully they will have some other suggestions or better yet, a solution.

I’m using E9. I also commented on this in the other thread you have going regarding this problem.
