1st time blogger……4000 hits in 4 months….good, bad, or average?

Hello, say I’m just curious….I started my blog in January and have more than 4,000 hits to date. Is this good, pitiful or average ? I’m just trying to decide how much more effort to put into it….thanks, Gary

It’s impossible to say as there are so many blogs in some many different niches and comparing apples to oranges is pointless.
