2 accounts – 1 registered blog – Help

  Hello,

  Today I registered a new blog for me today: simplymanon.com on Hostgator.com and created a new wordpress.org account.
  I also had an old wordpress.com account that I no longer use. However for some unknown reason I was logged into that old account and linked my new domain to that on.

  I would like to get my new blog on my new account.

  My issue’s
  1. I can’t login to my old account (I have no idea how I was logged in the first place)
  2. My new blog is now getting linked to that account (Paid $17 for that)
  3. I need help

  Can my new domain be linked to my new account, if so how can I do that.

  Please help meeee

  Hi manonkeupink,

  I you can’t login to your account or forgot the password, you can request a new password over here.

  Please follow the instructions carefully. If you don’t receive the emails right away, you have to check your spam folders as well. The confirmation emails can get caught in them sometimes.

  Afterwards, if you want to move your new domain, please refer to the following support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-to-a-self-hosted-wordpress-site/
