Hi, I would like to delete my wordpress.com site as I have created a new site in which I have purchased a domain. However, they have the same name and I use the same log in information so I’m not sure how to do this. I do not want to transfer the wordpress.com site, I would just like to delete it.

So originally I created simpleandflair.Wordpress.com as a free site but since then I have purchased my domain of http://www.simpleandflair.com. Still using WordPress, but through bluehost.
So I want to close the WordPress.com site and only continue with my purchased domain. Does that make sense? How do I close the one site down? -

Yes that does make sense but I should clarify that we are not directly affiliated with Bluehost, so you may not see the WordPress site you host there on this account with us.
Now that you have http://www.simpleandflair.com is it your intent to delete https://simpleandflair.wordpress.com/ perhaps? If you wish, You can follow the steps here to permanently close your account, which will delete simpleandflair.wordpress.com as well as remove your personal data from our service: https://wordpress.com/me/account/close
To confirm, closing your WordPress.com account will NOT affect your site on Bluehost in any way.

To confirm, will I still be able to access my simpleandflair.com site dashboard on WordPress if I delete my WordPress.com account?

That is correct. Deleting https://simpleandflair.wordpress.com/ will not affect your ability to reach simpleandflair.com’s dashboard at simpleandflair.com/wp-admin/
