2 blogs, 1 owner, wish to display 2 different names when publishing articles

I have 2 blogs: avvaworld and bgonthemove. When I publish an article on bgonthemove I still publish as avvaworld as I am the only administrator. I wish I can post an article as bgonthemove when posting in this blog and not avvaworld, because it’s misleading as the 2 blogs are very different. Could you help me? Is this possible?

I had the same problem. What I did was to create a new account under a different username (without creating a new blog) and transferred the blog to that account. Then I added my main username as an admin on the other blog so that my main account still has access to both blogs. When creating a post on the other blog I can then choose as which author I’m posting.
One complication: If you try to create an account using “bgonthemove” you might get a message saying that username is reserved. That’s because you’ve already created a blog using that URL. Create a different username. It can even be completely random. Then log in as “avvaworld” and transfer blog ownership to the new username. Log back in as the new user, accept the invitation. Now you should be able to change your username to “bgonthemove”. Finally, invite “avvaworld” as an admin. Log back in as “avvaworld” and both blogs should appear on your My Blogs page.
If you don’t get the message that “bgonthemove” is reserved, create the account but don’t create the blog. Then you can log back in as “avvaworld” and add “bgonthemove” as an author without having to transfer blog ownership. Log back in as “bgonthemove” to accept the invitation, but from thereon out you’ll be able to post as “bgonthemove” even while logged in as “avvaworld”.
Keep in mind that when you reply to comments it will be under whichever username you’re logged in as. There’s no way to comment as “bgonthemove” if you’re logged in as “avvaworld”.
