2 Blogs, separate followers?

    Hi – sorry for a newbie question (I have looked for an answer, can’t find one). So I have my original blog, my pen name/author one. I started a new WP blog about other stuff in my life, both on the same sign in/email (WP done that automatically). I can just press the ‘switch site’ bit on the top left to change between the two. But what I need to know is can followers of my author page get notifications of my other blog? I don’t want this to happen as both pages appeal to different types of people. In other words, I don’t want my author followers to get bombarded with posts from my other blog.
    I hope that makes sense?!

    Only those who follow a specific site URL will receive notifications pertaining to that site.
