2 Blogs under 1 Account – making it work

I am trying to get our mizzmo.com to look and be separate from our 3leons.com account. I have two different emails set up – but 3leons.com is getting comment notifications for comments made at mizzmo.com. Plus, mizzmo.com keeps picking up the 3leons.com avatar – when I have a separate one set up on both WordPress and Gravatar.

I think we need to separate out the two blogs to separate accounts and need to know how to do that without screwing things up.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

    Hey There!

    Thank you for contacting support!

think we need to separate out the two blogs to separate accounts and need to know how to do that without screwing things up.

This is likely correct! Here is what we propose:

    • Create a new username, mizzmodotcom
    • Transfer the blog mizzmodot, and the domain mizzmo.com to this new user

However before we can proceed on this, we will need a new email address for this new user account. Lastly

Plus, mizzmo.com keeps picking up the 3leons.com avatar – when I have a separate one set up on both WordPress and Gravatar.

The Gravatar avatar is based on email address, so this should no longer be a problem once we split up the blogs to separate email accounts for you.

    Cheers!

Dumb question – how do I transfer the one blog to the other?

I set up mizzmodot as the new account

I figured out transferring the pages to the new acccount. How do I get the domain to transfer over?

    Hey there!

Thanks for circling back to us. I looked into both accounts ( mizzmodot and 3leons) and I see you’ve figured out how to transfer the domains to each account.

At this point – do you have any additional queriers you’d like assistance on?

    Cheers!
