2 Column Custom Static Home Page Layout Breaking on Mobile

  Hello, this URL for the site is below:

  I have been troubleshooting how to get this layout to breakdown nicely when viewing on a mobile device, but is unsuccessful, unless I remove the Adsense ads. and make it 1 column. Is there a general rule that I am missing to get this to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
