2 Columns displayed until screen is made larger
-
Hi,
I am working on a page
http://www.redpandadesigns.com/bike/blog/
where i want the images to appear in 2 columns when the window is large enough. What I am finding is though that the images display in 1 column no matter what the window size is, except at a certain width when i experiment.
I cant work out whats going on…any help appreciated… -
I checked http://www.redpandadesigns.com/ and I see that it is using WordPress, but it is not hosted here at WordPress.com. Because of that, the best place for you to ask for CSS help is either through your theme author or in the volunteer-based WordPress support forums at http://wordpress.org/support/
I took a quick look at the page you linked to see if I could find out anything to answer your question or at least help get you started on it, and I found that the them is using a jQuery plugin called isotope and that is what is setting up the layout for the boxes on http://www.redpandadesigns.com/bike/blog/
Here is some information about isotope:
http://isotope.metafizzy.co/Because the boxes are moved around using a script like that, you should adjust the script to change the layout instead of using CSS to try to adjust it.
I looked at the page source on http://www.redpandadesigns.com/ and found that it is using the Socha Responsive Theme by http://alethemes.com/
The best first place to ask for theme help is from the theme author. If you still have questions after that, try the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums at http://wordpress.org/support/
Or if you’d like to hire a designer to help you, we have a form you can use to get a quote: http://en.support.wordpress.com/customize-my-site/request-theme-customization/
