If you are referring to share counts then note that wordpress.com does only has access to the numbers for the shares that are made on the blog posts themselves. The shares made anywhere else are not reflected in the number seen on the sharing icon.

I never had this problem before. I always share my articles on FB with the same way. And always get all the views on my Stats. This is the first time for this to happen. I got many likes, shares, and comments but it didn’t show.

I believe I have answered the question correctly. However, if you provide the URL of an exact post that you are concerned about the social network share count on, and tag this thread for Staff they will investigate.
Post the URL first and then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

The Facebook share button count and a page view on the WordPress.com side are two separate things.
In your stats on WordPress.com, a view is counted when someone other than a logged-in member of the blog loads the page into their browser.
The number on the Facebook share button counts:
* The number of likes of your URL
* The number of shares of your URL (this includes copy/pasting a link back to Facebook)
* The number of likes and comments on stories on Facebook about your URL
Source: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/faqs#sharecountSo, it’s possible for many people like or share a link directly on Facebook while at the same time very few of those people click through to actually view the original content on the original blog post.

Yes I understand stand. But many of them comments about the content. That means they clicked on the link and read it. How come that is not showing on my stats as it always did before with all my old blogs? The problem is still the same though. Thank you for your response :)

I’m really not sure. All I can tell you is that the numbers you’re looking at are measured very differently. Also, I cannot make the assumption that commenters have clicked through and I cannot see the share on Facebook or the comments to make a better judgment myself. Sorry I don’t have a better explanation for you!
