2 different emails causing problems

I got invited to a blog with one email and I confirmed the invitation. However, I realized that I haven’t activated my email address, however this is differently to the email that I got the invite on. It let me upload text, but not the media images and i think it’s because of this. What should I do?

There is a single email address that can be used on only one wordpress.COM username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account.
The wordpress.COM blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account at any time. A confirmation email will be sent to that address.

Hi there,
There is nothing wrong in this case. You have been added to muchadoaboutcinema.com in the Contributor role, and Contributors cannot upload media or publish posts. Contributors can only create draft posts without images which an editor or admin on the site can then publish.
If you need to be able to upload images you need to contact the admin who invited you to the site and ask them to change your user role to Author instead.
