2 different themes visible
-
I seem to have to themes running for my site. Am very new to this and was looking at alternative themes last night and now have twenty eleven showing when I login to WP and San Kloud as the public view. Have also lost page views that were previously visible.
What have I done!!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am seeing Twenty Eleven on the blog linked to your username. Is that the one in question? These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/ -
Hi Thanks for the info but that doesn’t seem to have worked.
When you go to my address a different theme is showing than the twenty eleven. Now thats fine as I quite like the new look but………. I am not able to edit ,manage or modify anything now. As I was still constructing the site I hade left the login option on the fron page. Now thats not there. When I log in to the site from WP the old site layout in 2011 shows up and everything is different. Half the pages are missing, I can’t seem to access the new look site. I have been fiddling with it for hours now and am completely frustrated.
This is my site address

You have two different sites, with two totally separate logins. http://www.lunchforkids.co/ is not a WordPress.COM blog. We can’t help with that.
http://lunchforkids.wordpress.com/ is a WordPress.COM blog. If you want to use the URL above on this blog, you will have to use Domain Mapping, which is a paid upgrade.
-
but I have only ever worked on the wordpress site and now half my pages are missing and i can’t seem to rest them back to how they were.
-
They’re BOTH wordpress. One is just WordPress.com and one is WordPress.org. Which one do you want to work on?
-
I’d like the layout of the .co site to be the one the world sees but would like the .com address to be the public site. I have updated the nameservers at the domain hosting site to point to the wordpress servers but can’t quite get my head around which current view people will see.
It also still doesn’t allow me to edit the curren.co site
Sorry for all the inconvenience to you but I am very new at this.
-
The .co site is totally separate. You can log into WP.com all you want, but it won’t allow you access to the dashboard of a site that isn’t hosted here.
-
Hopefully it will be pointing this way soon.
Another question, why can’t I see page attributes on my WP.co site any longer?
I have double checked the support doco becuase I thought I was going round the bend but its just not there. -
We can only help you with the site that is hosted here at WordPress.com, not the independently-hosted site.
-
Sorry that is the site I’m talking about I left off the m.
lunchforkids.wordpress.com is notallowing me to see page attributes or the usual publishing area on the right hand side.
-
What “usual publishing area?” You may be talking about things that work on WordPress.org but not on WordPress.com.
-
I’m not talking about WP.org.
Do a search in the support section for “page attributes” it tells you there how to access it. I am not able to do that now but was about 3 weeks ago. Something is different.
-
I think you are noticing the differences between your dashboard settings on the two different blogs http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-attributes/ You can change the display here.

No worries. You’re probably too advanced for this, but it’s a good intro to WP.com: http://learn.wordpress.com
