2 different urls to the same post

  Hello

  I have noticed that I have some pages that have 2 different urls for the same post. The only difference seems to be the size of the font in the title? Not sure what this means. Can I get rid of one of them so it’s easier to run the website? and easier for google too. Google is calling them duplicate title tags.

  The post is this one:

  I have noticed there are 5 others posts that also have this? What have I done to create this? Why only on 6 posts total?
  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

  I also have 2 author pages? where did these pages come from? Only 1 is correct with all my recipes on it, the other says it’s page 2, but looks nearly identical.

  Same but different. How can I make the duplicate page 2 disappear?

  Anybody have any thoughts on this?

  Is there a way to delete? how did this even happen? Is it an Apostrophe theme thing? a wordpress thing?

  I’m sure it always boils down to user error, but not sure what I did wrong.

  Hi Peter, for the author page, normally as you scroll down the page number would change. I’ll see if I can find out why that isn’t happening.

  For the comments link: did you ever happen to have a lot more comments on that post that maybe got deleted? If you choose to not break your comments into pages of 50 comments each, that second link goes away, for what it’s worth. Do you want to do that?

  Also, did you notice that the page/2 link actually starts at a different post than the link without page/2 ?

  Thanks for your assistance.
  For the comments link: I do have the box ticked to display comments into pages of 50 per page…. but I don’t think I have 50 comments on any post yet. I haven’t deleted any comments from any of my pages.
  Not sure if you have any other ideas on how to stop this duplicate link. Its only affecting about 10% of my posts.

  With the Page 2 link – they are different for some reason.
  The first link is correct, has all my posts up to date.
  Page 2 only has my posts up until the 16th of October. I have no idea why or what this is.

  I am using Apostrophe theme.

  Actually it looks like the comments page now offers a 301 redirect (saying the first page has moved permanently) so that’s good.

  I also noticed the two author pages show different results. Can you verify whether that made any difference with Google?
