2 Expired Domains

    I have two old WordPress sites that had their own domain names. I was paying for them and then stopped. They have been expired for 2-3 years. I am looking to restart the sites. I want to see if it is possible to go back to the free option without losing any of the content. Generally I want it to still be available to the public. If all else does not work, I am interested in learning all my options for maintaining and having access to the content.

    The only site in this account is https://opensourcetruth.wordpress.com/

    I can see that you had a domain on that site, but it expired in October and has since been removed from your account.

    Could the sites you’re speaking of be in a different account?

    If an upgrade on any site expires, that site automatically goes back to being a free site. No content is lost, and the site just reverts back to the free WordPress.com address. So as long as you can access the account that owns the sites you should be able to continue as normal.
