2 FA notice

I have just seen you notice about April 7th when I will be unable to access my blog without 2FA . Firstly when you click on more information nothing happens… there is no further information. Secondly I do not want to get through the process of two fold authentication when I log onto my blog.. I will happily change my password which so far has been secure and would be happy to complete a second authentication actually on the blog but I do not work on any mobile devices just my desktop and quite frankly even my bank does not demand the same hoops to jump through. Please advise what I can do to avoid this. I appreciate that WordPress has suffered some serious viral attacks but this process is not customer friendly in the slightest.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is a main thread about this issue here:

BTW, I tagged that thread with the modlook tag for Staff assistance.

I agree with smorgasbordinvitation (have copied what he said below) and would also like to avoid 2FA:

Apologies to smorgasbordinvitation. Should have been ‘she’.

thanks everyone.. went to the main feed where a member of WordPress staff stated at 11.32am that this was a temporary glitch and not correct and if you are still seeing the message to clear your cache ctrl F5 should do a reload of page. Or delete your history. Am I sceptical in thinking that this was to see what the reaction might be to this being forced onto us… and they received the answer loud and clear.. I was already planning where to go next and I would think quite a few might have been exploring options despite putting years of work into building our blogs. It is a huge relief..
