2 Favicons showing at once?

I have the strangest issue, hope someone can help me. My website was designed locally and it used to be blue, but then I changed it to pick before uploading the site to the internet. I updated my favicon to be pink, and then uploaded the site. The old site that wasn’t created in WordPress used to have a blue favicon, but this has been replaced with the pink one.

It all seemed to be perfect, but I have since noticed that in Internet Explorer the favicon appears blue for a second or two then flicks over to be pink once the page has fully loaded. It is also blue if you “open in new window” any of my images, and it is also blue in my admin area.

I have been through the folders several times now and Favicon.ico only appears once in the root, and it doesn’t appear to be in my theme / child theme anywhere so I have no idea where this blue favicon is located! Does anyone have any tips on how to find the location of the blue favicon so I can change it to pink!

    My website is KevsArt.com

Any help would be so appropriated!

    Thank you,

    Kev

    Hi there,
That site is not hosted here by WordPress.COM and we cannot help you with it. We provide support only for WordPress.COM blogs.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. read the differences here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
