2 posts in a row on index page

  Hi, I want to know how to alter the index page code or even category pages so that there will be 2 posts on each line instead of 1 after another.
  Here is an example: http://www.marriageadviceblog.com/ how did they do that?

  Hi @jackfrak, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from the theme author directly or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org Themes and Templates forum.

  @jackfrak, can you confirm the URL of the site you are talking about? From your wish to modify the index page, I may have wrongly assumed you were talking about a self-hosted WordPress.org installation since we cannot modify the theme PHP script files here at WordPress.com.

  I checked http://www.marriageadviceblog.com/ home page and I see two columns of posts each shown with an excerpt of text from the post. To do something like that, the best first thing to try would be to use a theme that already has something like that built in. Here are a couple you might consider:
