2 problems

  I’m having two problems with my website. First and foremost are the freaking flashing ads that suddenly appeared on them. How do I get rid of them. Secondly, in Internet Explorer when I put my cursor over the drop down menus, the menus in the drop down show up over on the left side of my screen and I can’t click on them. In Mozilla the website works fine but I’ve had people who are using IE complain that they can’t see my pages.

  All WordPress.com placed ads are easy to identify as this link accompanies them http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/

  Any other ads you see are not placed on the blog by WordPress.com. They are coming from a browser extension or toolbar.   1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

  2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

  3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/

  (a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  (b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled

  (c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.

  (d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
