1. Is it possible to set wideget and other object in a footer section? Actualy it seems to me that it’s possible to set the social network
2. the news on the home page coud be set with the gallery format that’s only a brief text with a button like “click here to read article”Thanks

Hi, Alfonso. You can change the layout of your site (assuming your theme allows it) by going to your Dashboard, then “Appearance,” then “Theme Options.” Then, you will be able to add widgets to the footer area.
By the way, did you know that WordPress.com has support forums in many languages? You might consider asking this question in the Italian language forums:

Each theme available for WordPress.com sites offer different options. Here are specifics about Big Brother:
https://wordpress.com/themes/big-brother/It looks like the Big Brother theme does not offer an option to add widgets to the footer.
Big Brother also does not off a slider to select posts, not any other version, for example a “magazine” style set of featured posts at the top of the front page. You could make a sticky post and put photos linking to some of your recent posts. (Note that the gallery function does not allow links to posts or any other thing online directly.) Or you could use a “recent posts” widget in a sidebar.
