2 Questions RE: How Much Bandwidth Is Included?

  1.) OK, so for a free WordPress.com account, it’s clear that we get to upload 3 gigs of files included for free. But if in my blog I offer a link to a file for downloading, how much free bandwidth (i.e., not hard drive space on the server but bandwidth to serve up the download I offer) do we get to use included with the free account?

  2.) Same question but assuming I pay for an upgrade to the $99 bundle.

  There is no limitation on or charge for bandwidth for textual content. The Space Upgrade gives you an additional 10, 25, 50, 100, or 200 gigabytes of storage space for storing uploaded files and images.

  Hello TimeThief — could you pls clarify your response in particular regarding the word “textual” –? Ultimately, my question is: if I upgraded to a premium account and offered an MP3 for download from my blog, would that bandwidth useage I’d incur be part of the unlimited bandwidth to which you refer? THANKS AGAIN!!

  We offer unlimited bandwidth but you will need to purchase space upgrades for media if you plan to include images, video or audio beyond 3 GB. The bundles include space upgrades.
