I wish to delete one site or people may come to the wrong one

To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

Be aware that deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the site, to change blog visibility to Private go to > Dashboard > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. It’s a case of universal hacking not Facebook I think from seeing your previous posts. I didn’t want to be on either but found people chatting a bit though not for individuals less troubling than as you noted the mere presence in the Web for most of us at browser check in.
As for the dashboard, well no that is not what I have at all. I read generally of deleting blogs but am not keen on the risk of losing even more control to my own, just wanted to lose one that might be a competing send nowhere decent competitor I had accidentally perhaps made by myself.
Thanks for the many links though have only followed your presence due to the initial reply being inaccurate to my dashboard and lack of Administrator rights. -
So I haven’t deleted my spare site just changed the name now as I don’t wish to lose the name I want.

Just so you are aware, deleting a site is permanent and cannot be reversed — you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address.

Thanks. That’s my worry. Delete is permanent. I understood that and figure I have got a good name.
I think the other site with a distinct name cannot be confused now anymore, anymore than another accidental setup.
Thanks again and sorry for any misunderstood innuendo. Best to learn more than just take auto assist with a total stranger on the web. Only a date would convince me. -

If you tick the ‘Notify me of followup posts via e-mail’ option at the bottom of the page, you can subscribe to the thread and be notified of new replies — but the only way to be notified is by email.
