2-step authentication for those without mobile phones

  I’d like to use the 2-step authentication process to ensure my password is strong and my site is the safest it can be, but the only way to do this is with a mobile phone. I don’t have a mobile phone that I use for work. I’d like to request that this process be made available in some other way so that everyone can take advantage of it. Thank you.
