2 step verification or better security for land line

    i don’t have a smart phone necessary to sign up for the 2-step verification. so far i am using someone else’s number temporarily. i need a protection for a land line system. do you have one? what else can i do for higher protection? I have been hacked several times like i am being stalked on wordpress.

    Hi moonlignt,

    If you do not have a smart phone, you will not be able to sign up for two-step authentication, and we do not have a land line option at this time.

    However, to better protect your WordPress.com blog, your best course of action is to use strong passwords both on your WordPress.com account AND on the email address used in conjunction with this account. If no one but you knows the passwords and they cannot be guessed, and no one else has access to the computer(s) you use to log in, it is extremely unlikely that your account would be compromised.
