    Hi there!

You can, but you should be aware of how to properly work with a developer on your site – we have some great tips here:

    Working With a Developer

There may be situations when you wish to hire a developer to help you create the site of your dreams! A developer is often used to customize a third party theme or plugin, make advanced CSS customization, or take care of your full website development. This guide shares tips you’ll need to know when working with a developer for your WordPress.com site. When Would I Need a Developer?Security Ti

Otherwise, this is how you would add a new person to your site:

    1. Go to the WordPress.com website and log in to your account.
    2. In the top left corner of the screen, click on the WordPress logo to access the dashboard.
    3. In the dashboard menu on the left-hand side, click on “People”.
    4. Click on the “Invite People” button.
    5. In the “Invite People” box, enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
    6. If you want to give the person a specific role, such as Administrator or Editor, select the appropriate role from the drop-down menu. If you do not want to give them full access to your site, you would want to make them an Editor, which is a step below the Administrator role.
    7. If you want to add a personal message, you can do so in the “Personal Message” box.
    8. Click on the “Send Invitation” button.
    9. The person you invited will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. Once they accept the invitation, they will be able to access your WordPress.com website with the role you assigned them.

I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
