  i see lots of references to a child theme ….

  apart from saving the css code if the theme changes – what are the benefits and how is one set up

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey lanason,

  Child themes can be used on self-hosted WordPress.org installations, but not on WordPress.com sites.

  Why use a Child Theme? is a section of a support document for WordPress.org that will touch on the benefits.
