200 less views daily on wordpress than my previous site why?

I just transferred my web site from plesk with an average of 250 hits per day for the last couple of years to wordpress with an average of 3 hits a day… same domain name… can anyone explain to me why? Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Stats from different sources cannot be compared since each stats program counts things differently. In some cases stats programs count web bot hits on your site, and will also count spam bots. WordPress does not.

Secondly, if you do not have your own domain name that you mapped to your site here, and if you do not have a redirect of some sort set up at plesk, then your site would have been brand new as far as the search engines are concerned and you would again be starting from zero as far as your search engine rankings.

What is the URL of your site here?

Ah, and I see you said, same domain name.

I’ve never used plesk nor do I know anything about it, but they other issue might be that there is (probably is) a difference in the structure of the URL permalinks between the two systems. That means that they old URLs from plesk that the search engines have would return 404 errors since the page or post here would have a different URL.

How long ago did you move over here?

Hi Thank you. Two weeks ago… and i am super happy with wordpress – but wondering about the definition of ‘clicks’ maybe mean two different things?
