2012: Getting rid of borders and border radius in HTML
-
Hi all
In the Twenty Twelve theme, can I get rid of the “shadow” (border) under the pictures and switch off the round corners without editing the CSS? It only seems to work partly: Large pictures react to “border-radius:0px;” while smaller ones don’t, and “border-style:none;border-width:0;” does not take the slight shadow away. Here are two examples, the first one with sharp corners, and the second one would just not take the style specifications.
I am still quite new to HTML, and know next to nothing about CSS, so your help would be greatly appreciated.
(I am not currently using Twenty Twelve but would like to switch to it as soon as I know more….)
Cheers
Tobias

Hi Tobias,
I just tested this and was able to remove the shadow and rounded corners for images of different sizes on a blog using the Twenty Twelve theme. Here’s how I recommend doing it:
- Open the editor for the post or page where you want to edit the image.
- Click on the image you want to edit, and then click the “Edit Image” button shown here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-settings/#within-posts
- Click on the Advanced Settings tab.
- Under “Advanced Image Settings,” next to “Style,” enter the following: border-radius:0;box-shadow:none;
- Click the “Update” button, then save your changes in that post or page.
You can do that for each image you want to change. If you have any questions about that, please let me know!
