2014 end of year report
-
Thanks for my 2014 Annual Report. I appreciate the hard work on your end. I have 2 items that seem in error:
1) My longest streak should run from 11/08 to 12/29–52 consecutive days.
The report has this: “LONGEST STREAK 21 days 9 December – 29 December”2) Most active commenters: Commenter 1 & 2 is the same person with email address (email visible only to moderators and staff). I changed my comment author to make the name Olivia Watler for those that were ocontessa21.
This report is not dynamic, that is it did not change based on changes I made.
The report has the following for the first two commenters:
1. Olivia Watler 31 COMMENTS
2. ocontessa21 7 COMMENTSPlease help me with the two items above.
Thanks!

My longest streak should run from 11/08 to 12/29–52 consecutive days.
The report has this: “LONGEST STREAK 21 days 9 December – 29 December”Did you back publish a post by chance? Meaning, did you miss a day then go back and publish a post on a previous date?
2) Most active commenters: Commenter 1 & 2 is the same person with email address (email visible only to moderators and staff). I changed my comment author to make the name Olivia Watler for those that were ocontessa21.
The report is generated based on comment user ID, which doesn’t change when you change the username on the comment. Could you point me to a comment that was formerly by ocontessa21 (now changed to Olivia Watler)?

Thanks Jeremey for the quick response.
To my knowledge I did not back-publish. My goal is to publish one of more articles daily.
As to Olivia: http://bit.ly/1HcieTr
She has a gravatar: http://bit.ly/1HciD8s
At this point,m I cannot tell you which of the seven (7) I changed the name from ocontessa21 to Olivia Watler. More likely, recent comments; but, there were some older ones as well. I’d like to consolidate her stats, if possible. Is there anything I can do on my end or have her do to resolve? Thanks!

Hey Jim – thanks for following up with these details. I tried to regenerate your report, but that didn’t seem to have any effect. I’m doing some more digging now. I’ll get back to you soon!

Excellent! I’m glad the streak issue has been resolved.
It doesn’t look like issue #2 is going to be resolved for this report. The issue is that the user commented a few times on your site. Then, they created a WordPress.com account for the additional comments. This generated two comment ID numbers (one for when they weren’t a user and another from when they were). We don’t have a way to backfill the old comments with the new user ID to combine the two.

Okay Jeremey!
Thank you for the effort. Looking to my 2015 End of Year Report.
The best and Happy New Year.
