2014 theme doesn't fit screen

Add topic to favorites
love the theme but there’s quite a wide area on the right side where it doesn’t quite fit to the screen size on desktop.

any ideas how I can fix this please?

Hi,

On my desktop PC, the front pages of both https://bujinkankigendojo.wordpress.com/ and the Twenty Fourteen demo fit entirely within the screen. On each, there is a border to the right of the sidebar widget area. Is that what you’re referring to?

Yep ,that border is indeed what I’m referring to. Can i get rid of it some how?

It’s an element of the theme design. If possible, removing or modifying the border width would require CSS customization. If you have Custom CSS, which is part of the Custom Design upgrade, or plan to purchase that upgrade, then I’d suggest you either submit a request to the CSS Customization forum or add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.

thanks for the help chap.

i wasn’t sure it was part of the design until you said as it’s not visible on the mobile versions. Plus it just looks weird.

will probably have to find a new theme to satisfy my pernickety ways.

well seems it may just take a while to load properly as it’s displaying fine now. i am on a crappy lappy at the mo which is likely why.

will try on pc later to see if it still persists.
