2014 Theme Featured Slider Timer

  This is most likely a stupid question, but is there a way to put a timer on the featured slider? Like have the articles rotate every couple seconds?

  Hi there. I don’t know of any setting in WordPress.com that can do that, no. I want to recall I’ve seen the post slider in some themes advance automatically, but I’m not absolutely certain, nor can I recall which themes just now. It could also have been self-hosted sites and my memory is just playing tricks on me :-)

  If there is any way you can control this it would be via editing the theme’s CSS. You can post in the CSS Customization forum to find out whether this is possible or not and what code would be needed to make the change, though you’ll have to own the Custom Design upgrade to implement any suggestions they have for you: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform
