2016 theme menus

I apologize that I am very non-tech savvy when it comes to things like this. I’m using the Twenty Sixteen theme and I want to be able to add menus across the top so people can find easily find posts regarding different topics (click here for posts about mental health, click here for posts about infertility, etc) where the reader would be redirected to a page with all the posts based on that specific topic. Would I actually then need to turn the blog into a website to do that?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

You will need to create a custom menu and assign it as your site’s Primary Menu in order to control the items that appear in the menu at the top of your site.

When creating your menu, you’ll see the option of adding a “category.” If, for example, you categorise some of your posts as “Mental Health,” you can then add that category to your menu in order for all of those posts to be accessible via the top of your site.

Further guidance and information on adding a category to a custom menu can be found here:

Take a look and let me know if any questions come up.
