2017 Theme Customizing

WordPress 2017 default theme was around very early last year but when I first tried it, around December 2016 it blew me away. That version of Twenty Seventeen had a feature where you would scroll through the page and see images embedded within the page and between them you had short tidbits of information. Then you had the latest blog posts at the bottom of the page and then an about location part to the sidebar.

I miss this version but I have tried wordpress.org blogs, free and paid and that feature is no longer there. Do I need to download and install pages or plugins to get that feature back? I even tried downloading this theme from my wordpress.com account and it still isn’t working.

Can someone tell me how to get the features I described back in my version of Twenty Seventeen? I need it badly. This version was about 1.0 in December and it was great. Help me get it back.

Simply put, my blog/site with TwentySeventeen should look like this

    https://ubblogtest.wordpress.com/

Instead of one static page and not with the same images but ones of my choosing..

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

You don’t need to install any pages or plugins. If you would like to have your site set up similar to the demo, or the site that you posted, you can follow the steps over here:

    https://wordpress.com/theme/twentyseventeen

It goes into detail on how to set it up.

    Hope this helps!
