2813 Layout – Author on Posts
-
Hi everyone,
I’m using the 2813 blog layout model and I can’t figure out how to get author’s names to show up on the post itself. Of course, you can see them in the dash board, but I’d really like to have every author’s name attached to the posts. I’m fairly fluent with WP by now, so I’m wondering whether it’s just not an option, and who I can complain to if that’s the case.
If anyone’s got an idea, please do let me know!
Thanks,

Whether the author shows on posts or not is theme dependent and was the theme designer’s choice. There is no way to add it other than having your authors put a “byline” at the top of each of their posts: “By: Author Name” or something similar.

The complaint will do you no good really since wordpress honor’s the theme designer’s design and the only modifications they make is to make sure the theme works with the software here and has no security issues. They do not change the designs from the original.

Well, with three I’ll get this finished. The other option for you is to choose a theme which does show the author in the metadata for the posts.
