2.9.0 Release: Cannot find module '../screen'

  I was prompted to upgrade my WordPress.com app from version 2.8.0 to 2.9.0 this morning. Now when I open the application I receive a popup that reads: “WordPress.com ran into an error”

  The error states: Cannot find module ‘../screen’

  Hi mattrobbwriter,

  Sorry to hear you are having problems with this. If you haven’t done so already, please try downloading version 2.9.0 of the app from this page:

  Desktop Apps

  Then install the file you download from there, to see if that makes a difference.

  Let me know how you get on.

  Yes, I uninstalled the app entirely and then reinstalled using the URL you provided. Seems to have fixed the issue.

  For others…

  Not sure if it matters, but after the uninstall completed I rebooted the machine. When it restarted is when I initiated the application install again. I rebooted a third time before running the app.
