2FA codes not working

I can’t log in because my 2FA codes don’t work. I know my username and password, but for some reason wordpress asks for 2FA codes every single time I log in and this time it’s not working.

That’s the moment you must use one of the backup codes you got when you set up 2FA and you were supposed to print out and store on a safe place.

yes those are the backup codes I have been using which are not working. I’ve tried every single backup code I have and each time it says they’re expired (even though they shouldn’t be). I have no way to sign in now, what should I do?

Gotcha, our 2FA for a WordPress.com login is likely different from anything you have set up on your copy of WordPress with another host.
Have you tried asking your host for help backing up and trying one of these options?

You may also need to deactivate any 2FA plugin you’ve got. I’d check in with their support to confirm best practices, but this may help too. Just be sure to make backups first.
