3 alignment problems in layout

    I have just published a post called “Fortuny was Spanish?”

    Layout is not perfect, but I can live with it, except:

    1.] paragraph beginning “Fortuny did the Greeks one better…” needs to start to the right of the drawing, not above it.

    2.] below the words “ready for storage or travel.” I had wanted the picture of the blue silk in the little hat box to slip in between the captions for the pink painting on the left and the yellow photo on the right. Don’t know how to make it work on my Safari, but for some reason it slips right in on someone else’s Firefox on PC.

    3.] WORST PROBLEM: both on my Safari/Macbook and a PC/firefox, the end of “Fortuny was Spanish?” overlays the beginning of the previous post “Shaker Shock.”

    I’ve learned a lot in the past month, thanks to justpi and thistimethis place, but clearly still have a ways to go.

    Thanks to all for any help

    3. This is happening because you misapplied a solution I had suggested to you. You need to find all of these:
    <div style="clear:both;height:36px;">
    and turn them to this:
    <div style="clear:both;height:36px;"></div>
    Then you need to delete an equal number of these from the end:
    </div>

    1. Paste this before the shortcode of that image:
    <div style="clear:both;height:36px;"></div>
    You can change the number to adjust the space.

    You’ll also need to turn “… there’s no need for” + “arduous pattern-making …” into one paragraph.

    (So there’s no point telling you about #2, as things will change around there.)
