3 different sites

    Hi I have my site agirlwhocantsitstill.com and apparently in my wordpress account setting i also have two other sites agirlwhocantsitstill.wordpress.com but I don’t recall making these. If I delete them but then in the future would like that domain name again (the free.wordpress.com one) would I be able to have it?

    Hi there,

    You only have one site hosted with us, and that is https://agirlwhocantsitstill.wordpress.com/. That site was created in January last year when you created this WordPress.com username account.

    The site at http://agirlwhocantsitstill.com/ is a stand-alone WordPress site that you have hosted at GoDaddy.com, and which is connected to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin.

    If I delete them but then in the future would like that domain name again (the free.wordpress.com one) would I be able to have it?

    If you delete agirlwhocantsitstill.wordpress.com, that address will be removed from our system permanently, and neither you nor anyone else would be able to use it ever again.

    That site is completely empty, and it’s marked as private, so not visible to anyone besides you, so you can just leave it as it is in your account. That way, should you ever decide you want to use it, you’ll still have it, but in the meantime you’re the only person who knows that it exists.
