300 views on a private site

    My site acmedrive.wordpress.com, a site i used to look at some vacation photos says it has over 290 views, it is private and i’m the only one with access and i’m the only one with access, and it has only been around for a matter of days and i’ve only looked at it maybe 20 times at most. im very concerned about this.

    Hi there,

    On a private site the site owner’s views are counted, and you’re the only person who can view content on this site.

    All those views on 7 December are for the same person. Views are counted every time you view a post or a page, but also every time you view an individual image file, and during the same browser session you viewed some images on the site as much as 6 times.
