3.0.1 on free blogs?

  Hey, I wanna ask if the WordPress 3.0.1 files I can download from the site work with my free blog.
  This URL right here (http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress#Detailed_Instructions) tells me how to install WordPress, but it doesn’t say whether I can edit my blog with it.
  So could I edit my WordPress free blog with those files?

  You are confused. The version we are running here at wordpress.com is 3.0. Here Staff do all upgrades for us. Please read this support entry so you understand that there is nothing that you need to do in this regard or that you can do on this multi-user blogging platform. We don not have FTP access. We cannot upload versions, themes, plugins or anything else into our free hosted blogs.

  yea, yea, I’m quite familiar with the interface. I was mainly wondering if I could use another theme other than those I can choose from in Control Panel.

  Not unless you can skin a version of one of the existing themes here by yourself using CSS and you’re willing to purchase the upgrade.
