3.5.1 Plugin update icon not going away after installing contact form 7…

  Hey there,

  I did a clean install of wp 3.5.1 and when I installed the contact form 7 plugin, WP keeps telling me that I have a plugin update available. There is a (1) icon at the top of the WP header and beside the plugin text on the sidebar. However, there is no update available.

  Ideas?

  That’s not as free hosted WordPress.com blog that you are referring to. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.org bloggers.
