3GP Video to WordPress Video

  I would like to capture some video using my Nokia phone which encodes 3gp video. I’d like to be able to simply – and really I don’t want to buy software – encode that video in a format that WordPress supports. I’m a premium user, so can upload using the new WordPress video system (which I think is fab). The available formats for upload include mov, wmv, avi, and mpg. Can someone please suggest some suitable freeware or upload site which will make the conversion simply and fast.

  A quickie google search pulls up this page on converting. Haven’t used 3gp (had to look it up in fact) so I’m at a loss on this one but I hope that page helps you.

  Maybe someone else has a suggestion or two…

  What OS are you using by the way? (That would help give specific solutions)

  Thanks for the tips. I’ve been searching for a week now and everything I’ve found has either been incredibly cumbersome or incredibly suspicious, hence my posting here. I’m using Vista (yes, seemed like a good idea at the time). Hhehehe
