4 columns appearance on Inbalance 2

  I am trying to use Inbalance 2 theme. I wanted 4 columns with each column associated with one primary subject. I wanted my first post of each column to be sticky. I cannot get the photo image at the top with a brief summary below and then click on the summary or photo to expand. Would CSS make this easier?

  Hi,

  With the Imbalance2 theme, the columns aren’t designed to be independent of one another, so there isn’t a way to set each column up in a format like that.

  Offhand, one that is close to that idea is Modern News: http://modernnewsdemo.wordpress.com/

  On the demo, the top “Jonny Depp” box, the two “Today’s Headline” and “Featured Music”, and the “Latest Fashion News” blocks can be each set independently or not used at all (they’re all “widget spaces” of their own, so pretty flexible.

  Hi, I appreciate the ideas. I struggled w/ Imbalance 2 to get it as close as I could. Will check out your suggestions.

  Maybe another Q: Is CSS worth it? I suppose it depends on how creative one wants to be.

  The Custom Design upgrade is worth it, assuming you want to customize your site beyond what the theme has already :-)

  Sometimes folks purchase it and then don’t do anything with it. Other folks end up having a completely different visual look to their site than before they started.
