4 letter Captcha not matching input
-
I cannot login to wordpress wp-admin because it rejects the 4 letter captcha entry. Therefore, captcha is displaying incorrect characters for login. I cleared cache, rebooted PC. This used to fix, but starting today the issue is permanent. ID & password is fine. If I click ‘forgot password’, it prompts only for ID and 4 letter Captcha. An error returns saying the 4 letter entry is incorrect.

I really need help. Server Host says this is due to a plugin and if I delete the correct file via ftp (sure, no problem, that’s almost too easy, right?), the 4 letter captcha prompt will disappear. Otherwise, my website is hijacked…by a plugin.
