4 sites under one user name. Can I have multiple user names?

    I have 4 sites that all operate under the same user name deermeadowfarm. Is it possible to have a different user name for each site? What would be the advantage or disadvantage of multiple user names?

    This question came up because I’m trying to change my blog address URL for site #4. One of the questions that it asks in the process is ‘Create a new user to match the new blog name?’, other choices are ‘Change your current username (deermeadowfarm) and discard the current account. (You will not be able to change your username back) ‘ and the choice ‘No’.

    Howdy –

    I wouldn’t recommend separating out the sites unless you needed to do so for business purposes. Each WordPress.com user account requires a unique email address, so you’d be managing for separate logins, 4 separate emails + passwords, etc.. It can get quite confusing.

    There’s no limit on how many free sites you can have under your user account.
