4 week old new blog not showing up on google etc.
-
Hi. Hoping someone can help me. I have tried doing this myself but with no luck. Last year I started a WordPress blog http http:/attributesoffaerieinantiquity.com. I deleted this http address and did up a new blog called http:// cheryljeanette..wordpress.com. For some reason the old first blog is showing but can’t be viewed, and unfortunately I can’t bring up in any search engine http:/CherylJeanete.wordpress.com.
Could someone please help me? I would really appreciate it.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

you actually have a 10 day old blog – there is only one Post about 10 days ago – Posts tell search engines about your site – Pages do not –
it takes 4 to 7 weeks for a new site to be indexed and that is only if you have something worth indexing
See below for more help – – also the old site will go away but it will take a while – since you deleted the old site you can’t leave a note on it or purchase domain forwarding

Hi Auxclass.
Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it. I started this new blog a few months ago now. When I first started the other blog which I had deleted it came up straight away in search engines. That’s really interesting how blogs come up instead of pages. I read something about Google webmaster tools, is this a way you can try and get your site showing in search engines. I appreciate your help. -
The best way to get blogs / sites to show up in search engines is write interesting and original Posts – Posts call up search engines – so you need to get the attention of the search engines first –
Go over the links I gave above – I had to go through them several times, lots of good info in them – pick out the parts that you can do – Pages tend to be static – once you have gotten the attention of search engines the Pages will also be indexed
Webmaster tools is nice but not required – your blog will search fine as long as you follow the advice of the links I left above
