403 error when submitting account recovery page
-
Hi, I stupidly fouled up my Google Authenticator app and have lost the ability to do 2-step verification.
I have tried the Account Recovery page (http://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery) several times but get a “403 Forbidden” error when I submit the page.
My account id is khennessey. This account is a dummy for the purpose of submitting this request.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi khennesseybroken,
Please go to https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and select “Need more help” and you should be able to submit the form.
It looks like we have a broken page somewhere as well. Can you let me know where you found that link?

Huh. I followed your instructions from a different computer and it worked. My form has been submitted.
The link I posted is the link one gets when one clicks “Need more help” on the page to which you linked. I don’t know why submitting that form gets a 403 error from one PC and works on another.

Hi again,
I’m not sure why would have gotten a link with http:// rather than https:// but that’s why the old one didn’t work. At any rate, I’m glad you were able to use the link, and I hope you are able to sort things out with your other account.

Nope, I’m still waiting for a reply to the form I submitted yesterday. Still can’t login until someone turns off my 2-step verification.

We receive a large number of account recovery tickets, and we address each one in the order received. We appreciate your patience. Someone should be in touch soon.
