403 Forbidden

For quite a few years I was always able to get access to my WordPress website without any problems. Then one day I wasn’t able to get access, and instead I got an error message saying ‘403 Forbidden’.
I have read several other accounts of this problem on your website, but I could not find an answer that worked for me.
I usually use Chrome. I also have Internet Explorer. When I try to access my WordPress website using Chrome, I get the ‘403 Forbidden’ message. When I use Internet Explorer I am able to get access (but it is terribly slow).
Can anyone please tell me how to resolve this ‘403 Forbidden’ error?

What site are you trying to access? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.
If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead, or contact your hosting provider directly.

On many sites I do manage I am facing the same problem. Regularly I have to get the code again to be connected again.

The error message I am getting is: 403 Forbidden. Access to this resource on the server is denied!
As I mentioned before, I only seem to get this error message when I an using my PC using Chrome. If I use Internet Explorer, I don’t get the “403 Forbidden” message.
Also when I access the site using my phone, I don’t get the error message.I would very much appreciate it if you can help me.
(I much prefer using Chrome, but using Chrome I can’t get into my own website!)Thank you,
